PET washing line is your ideal solution for PET recycling.
This fully automatic washing line turns the packed PET bottles into clean flakes. The finished PET flakes can be used to produce fibers or pelletized to produce other PET products.
This is done by a series of recycling equipment and the whole line is equipped with a standard central control system. Our standard PET washing line can process PET bottles from 500kg/hr to 3000kg/hr per hour. The output of this final product depends on the impurity content of the PET raw materials. Our standard PET washing line is suitable for most factories and it can also be customized according to your requirements.
PET cleaning equipment
1. Bale opening machine-The first step of our PET production line is to break up the whole package of PET bottles and then use a belt conveyor to transport to the next equipment
2. Tumbler screen-This is an optional equipment. The principle of the tumbler screen is to rotate slowly with small holes in a straight line. The hole of the roller screen is smaller than that of the PET bottle so small contaminants (such as small stones, soil, glass, etc.) will fall through the small holes but the PET bottle will enter the next process.
3. Wet plastic crusher-our plastic crusher crushes waste bottle into bottle flakes, the size is about 10-15mm. Water is continuously sprayed into the crushing cavity so that the PET bottle flakes can be pretreated and cleaned when entering the next process.
4. Winnowing-Winnowing is a method of separating light objects from heavy objects. The main purpose of winnowing is to sort out the paper film on the bottle.
5. Rinse tank-use water as a medium and separate by specific gravity. The PET will sink under the sink and the label and bottle cap will float. There is a screw under the rinsing tank that can send the sinking PET flakes to another device.
6. Hot washing (cooking pot)-PET bottle flakes that have been hot washed are more valuable. This process dissolves the glue on the bottle and the remaining beverages and food, which are difficult to clean with cold water. Generally speaking, chemicals are also added to improve clarity.
7. Friction washing-This is an effective cold washing equipment. This friction washing uses mechanical friction to remove the contaminants from the PET bottle flakes.
8. Dewatering machine-This is the first step of drying. This equipment uses centrifugal force to remove the main moisture of the material when the material enters the hot air drying. Because hot air drying consumes electricity, long-term operation of the dehydrator will save you a lot of energy.
9. Hot air drying + cyclone separator-After the PET bottle flakes are processed by the dehydrator, they will enter the stainless steel tube and mix with the hot air and the remaining water content will be removed in this process. The cyclone separator mixes the PET bottle flakes with the hot air and the cyclone separator can also remove small impurities (such as dust).
10. Finished product silo-a storage silo for clean PET flakes.
